• Identifying Information- such as name, contact numbers, email id and address
• Professional Objective- should be brief and clear stating your field or position of interest
• Education– mention your university, degree, major and your graduation date starting with the most recent one first
• Skills- highlight your skills and strengths gained from your work experience
• Work Experience- Give details about your work experience and responsibilities handled in reverse chronological order along with names of organizations worked in, positions held and tenure. Highlight major accomplishments in your career
• References- mention that these will be available upon request. Ensure that the you have permission from individuals if you are listing them as references

You should showcase your resume to show what you can do well and also sell your strengths. It is important to check for grammatical errors and typos before sending out your resume to any employer, as this will speak volumes about the quality of your work and attention to detail. Write clearly avoiding too many professional jargons, which some interviewers may not understand. Stick to facts and mention any gaps in your employment history upfront. Finally, keep it short and simple using standard font and size to make it easily readable.
